A boy enjoys a nickel frank from a pushcart in 1937. The transaction took place at the corner of Hanover and Blackstone Streets between the North End and Scollay Square. The eastern side of Blackstone Street was leveled in the 1950s for the ramps of the elevated Central Artery.
