Twice a year—in the winter and in the summer—some of the area's best restaurants participate in Restaurant Week Boston. During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants offer three-course prix-fixe lunches for $20.08 and dinners for $33.08. This is usually a significant discount from the normal menu pricing, and gives people the chance to try out restaurants they might not normally visit.

Summer Restaurant Week Boston 2008:

Sunday, August 10 through Friday, August 15 and Sunday, August 17 through Friday, August 22.

Prices:

Three-course prix-fixe lunch: $20.08
Three-course prix-fixe dinner: $33.08
Price is per person and excludes beverage, tax and gratuity.

The three-course prix-fixe meals include an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. The price is per person and does not include beverages, tax, or gratuity.
